About Me
I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada, a city that holds a special place in my heart. It's where I learned the values of hard work, community, and perseverance. In December 2022, I proudly received my Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Nevada, Reno.
During my time at UNR, I was honored to be named to the School of Community Health Sciences Dean's list in May 2021 and the School of Public Health Dean's list in December 2022. These accolades were a testament to my dedication and passion for public health.
In September 2022, I embarked on an exciting journey as an intern at High Sierra AHEC. After graduation, I officially joined the AHEC team as the Community Health Worker Coordinator, a role that allows me to continue my commitment to improving healthcare access and quality by training future healthcare professionals.
Looking towards the future, I have aspirations of attending nursing school to further my career and make an even greater impact in healthcare.
In my free time, I find joy in immersing myself in nature and outdoor activities. I love reading books that inspire and educate me, hiking through scenic trails, paddle boarding in serene waters, feeling the adrenaline rush of riding ATVs, and reconnecting with nature through camping trips. These experiences ground me and recharge my spirit, preparing me for the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead in my professional and personal life.
