I am the Program Manager at High Sierra AHEC, bringing a strong background in community health, prevention, and workforce development to a mission I deeply believe in. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and have spent my career serving underserved communities across behavioral health and substance use prevention. Being bilingual in English and Spanish has been an invaluable asset in connecting with and bridging the gap between the diverse communities I serve. As a proud Reno native, I am passionate about High Sierra AHEC's mission to build Nevada's next generation of healthcare professionals and strengthen our current healthcare workforce.
Outside of work, I am a Latin dancer with extensive experience in bachata, always focusing on my growth, foundations, and technique to better equip me on stage. I also enjoy baking, walking my dog, and attending concerts to watch my favorite artists live.
I am driven by the genuine belief that equitable healthcare access transforms and saves lives and I am honored to do that work alongside such a dedicated team.
