

TUITION AND FEES
Upon successful completion of the program, trainees are eligible to apply for certification through the Nevada Certification Board (NCB). The Certification Fee is $75 + a convenience fee. This price is NOT included in the AHEC program cost. Trainees are responsible for submitting their AHEC Certificate of Completion to the NCB for review and approval, as well as paying the fee for the NCB application. High Sierra AHEC will provide the necessary documentation for this process.
All High Sierra Area Health Education Center (AHEC) training purchases are subject to the following refund policy. Refund requests must be submitted within seven (7) days of the original purchase date. Requests received within this timeframe may be eligible for a refund at the discretion of High Sierra Area Health Education Center (AHEC). After the seven-day period has passed, all sales are considered final and no refunds will be issued. Refunds will not be granted for reasons including, but not limited to: Organizational changes in training platforms or systems, scheduling conflicts, employee turnover or staffing changes, failure to attend or complete training, delayed use of purchased training seats. By purchasing or registering for Community Health Worker Certification training, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees to these terms. High Sierra Area Health Education Center (AHEC) reserves the right to enforce this policy in accordance with the organization's Terms of Use.
