About The PROGRAM
Our Train-the-Trainer program offers a cost-effective and time-conducive alternative to our open enrollment option.
Health facilities will be able to annually license our copyrighted materials and receive direct training from our staff, so the required cultural competency training can be completed and maintained within their own organization.
We recommend this option for facilities with 60 or more employees.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THIS PROGRAM
Trainees will attend and participate in a standard Nevada Cultural Competency Training in its entirety, experiencing the training as taught by DHHS/HCQC-approved trainers.

The Train-the-Trainer Program integrates interactive activities and downloadable worksheets and provides key takeaways for teach-back lessons and practice.

Train the Trainer trainees will develop their own examples and 'back-pocket knowledge' to ensure relevance to their organization when presenting the training.

Trainees will engage in discussion boards, reflections, and evaluations to ensure understanding of the content of the training, recognize the purpose of cultural competence, and create personal and organizational goals for increasing cultural awareness and sensitivity in their workplace.

Program materials include a standard NVCC workbook, a Train-the-Trainer guidebook with note pages, and take-home worksheets to encourage ongoing learning and self-evaluation.
PRICING
Train-the-Trainer registration includes payment for live training for 1 participant, access to self-paced program components for 1 participant, and 1 year of licensing of materials for training within the facility. Interested in Train-the-Trainer? Please contact our team for an invoice.

SELF-PACED CULTURAL COMPETENCY TRAINING - $65
Nevada Cultural Competency has developed the Self-Paced Nevada Cultural Competency Training. This course, led by High Sierra AHEC public health professionals, helps foster cultural humility for patients and residents. As an asynchronous, self-driven training option, as soon as you register, you will have access to the training for 90 days and can complete the training from any device at any time.
