I am excited to operate as the Program Coordinator Lead for High Sierra AHEC. Throughout my professional and academic careers, I have been passionate about expanding public health through health equity, access to care, and minimizing the barriers and disparities that exist across all sectors of public health. With bachelor’s degrees in both Public Health and Psychology, I’m committed to expanding the reach of public health through a cultural and inclusive lens. 

 

My journey with High Sierra AHEC has evolved from a Health Equity Intern, to Program Coordinator, and now serving as the Program Coordinator Lead. During this time, I have had the opportunity to improve healthcare education, access, and quality through a health equity lens. I am committed to promoting equity by fostering cultural competency and cultural humility among healthcare professionals and the communities we serve across Nevada. 

 

When I’m not working, you can find me rock climbing, baking, enjoying Tahoe, or spending time with my friends and family.
