Research and Development Coordinator

JAYDEN FROST
Hi there! My name is Jayden Frost and I serve as the Research and Development Coordinator
for High Sierra AHEC. I was born in Reno, Nevada and lived here for most of my life with a brief chapter in Houston, Texas. I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2025 with a Bachelor’s in Public Health. During my degree process, I developed a strong passion for
advancing public health initiatives alongside my interest in medicine. I plan to continue my
education in both fields to better inform and strengthen the way I serve communities.
I started my journey with High Sierra AHEC as the Met-S/NVCC intern where I was introduced
to serving rural communities and supporting cultural competency initiatives. Within my current position as the Research and Development Coordinator, I have the honor of continuing that work while also coordinating development projects across health equity, workforce pathways, and Met-S/NVCC- related initiatives that serve rural communities across Nevada.
Outside of work, I’m a proud multi-hobby enthusiast! You’ll often find me dancing or coaching
the competition dance team I grew up with. Beyond the studio, I enjoy reading, painting, quilting, planning my next concert, baking, exploring the outdoors with my dogs, and—whenever possible—dreaming about Disneyland!
