When healthcare workforce shortages are discussed, the conversation often begins at the college or training level. While these stages are essential, they address only part of the pipeline.

2026 is right around the corner, and with the promise of a new year comes exciting new trainings that the High Sierra AHEC team is currently building! The High Sierra AHEC Team has been hard at work developing new training content for our existing Community Health Worker (CHW) and Nevada Cultural Competency (NVCC) programs.
